I learnt a new strategy to write reading response. I used the key words in the questions to help me look for answers in the text.

By using this strategy, I was able to answer the questions correctly. I felt a bit brainy because I was getting better.

Me and my culture

Me and my culture

On Wednesday the 11th of March we had Petia Wilson and Leah Tuia talking to the years 7 and 8 students about Anti Bullying - being Respectful. They talked to us about our cultures and to never be embarrassed or afraid of our own country. After that we had to talk about our culture greetings, values, gesture, traditions and chants.We had A South African group, Samoan group, Tongan group, Cook Island group, Niuean group and finally the Tangata Whenua group.
